I don’t see why not, but it’s hard to slots for persons kind of schools. If you’re in the 820th Security Forces Group, you’d probably stand a better chance of getting a slot or if you’re on the SWAT team. I know one guy that went to civilian sniper school on weekends and the AF paid his tuition because he was active duty, he was also on the SWAT team.

You can, but, the AF doesn’t have snipers.
Security Forces send some of their guys owing to a quick course owing to the National Guard and occasionally some civilian counter-sniper courses, but they aren’t right sniper courses and they’ll never be employed as actual snipers on the battlefield. They’re more marksmen than whatever thing else.
Air Force Special Operations (PJ/CCT) have actual sniper trained individuals, but their main mission isn’t derogatory, so missions for such are few and far between and are typically in conjunction with additional operations.
If you want to be a sniper, your best option is the Army or Marine Body.

The policy has just changed to allow persons who have had corrective surgery to be snipers.
