I got my lasik two weeks after my 21st birthday and have had 20/20 vision since then and it has been 4 years since the procedure. Most places I've talked to require you to be at least 21, with no prescription changes in several years. The problem is that most people's eyes continue to grow and change slightly into their 20s. If you get surgery and your eyes change shape, then your vision will get worse again. At that point you would either have to have another surgery or go back to wearing corrective lenses. Best plan would be to call around to several clinics, ask, and then book a free consultation to see if you would be a good candidate.
