I did it 5 years ago.
But at the moment they have 3 types of surgery.
I could see what happen, but I did not feel a thing…. it’s spine-chilling and I am pleased it only has to be done once… for each eye.
I saw them brushing the film off my eye “it was like you are looking at them owing to water, what I mean is that you are under water and they are on the surface”. Than the laser starts…. which I did not see whatever thing, I only heart the machine ticking…. while the doctor counts down the seconds for each eye.
But I promise you, I am pleased and it was worth it.
No lenses, no pain behind my ears, nose, etc…
It’s waking up and immediatly I can see sharp…. ;- )
The only negative thing I got or side effect is that I can not handle very bright light…. my eyes initiation tears. But I can life with that.
My Friend says she had it done at TLC which the top one for laser eye & she said what they do is they take like a pen like thing kinda like one of persons soft tip structure pencils or something and they rub that over your eye I reckon & then they do some additional material I reckon I don’t I haven’t talked to her for a year or so. Oh, I Hope I Didn’t Scare You, if so I’m really sorry I didn’t mean to.
your eyes are held open with tiny small clamps and you see it ALL. It’s unsettling but for me the worst part was teh smell of burning tissue when the laser zapped my corneas.
have the Dr give you some valium before they get started. It doesn’t take long, the surgery, but OMG the nervousness of looking at instruments coming straight toward your eye adn smelling burning flesh. eeoowwww
postscript my surgery was a DREAM. It’s 9 yrs and I’m 100% pleased
you can see it, freaky i know
