I was thinking of being a pilot in the military .but my eyes are 2.50 and 2.00 presciprtion (kinda bad+I can’t see things far away).SO is laser eye surgery okay.I keep hearing all this bad stuff.What are posible complecations/what can I not do?whats the age limit Share and Enjoy: I know a woman who had laser eye surgery around 2003, and at that time was happy with the result, and even recommending that I get it, too. I saw her recently, and asked how her eyes were. She said she now regrets it because her eyes are often too dry and uncomfortable. [...] I heard a few years ago that having laser eye surgery may eventually cause blindness later in life. Is this true? Share and Enjoy: And is there something other than laser eye surgery to see normally without glasses or lenses? I just want to stop wearing glasses and the price does not matter! Share and Enjoy: I am interested in having laser eye surgery to correct short sight but I am concerned about the longer term side effects as I get older.
