Why not get it done in Bankok,Thailand? Cheap and excellent. After that,with excellent vision, can take a tour around. A few excellent hospital caters to foreigners with excellent international doctors. Try the International or Bumrungrad Hospital. Can search in the website for their facilities and cost. About 10 days whole process. Need to precheck for suitability before lasik. About USD 1800 both eyes basic. Add about another 10%, package tailored to your eyes requirement. I may try the International hospital in Thailand. Still considering.
Where in Canada? There is a Dr. Joseph King in Edmonton. He works for Clearly Lasik. He has done over 30,000 surgeries and is a fantastic general practitioner.
